Breakfast at Roughfirth House is a special occassion. Served in our dining room with wall-to-wall windows overlooking the estuary, it is a truly relaxing way to start the day.

Guests enjoy local produce, cooked to order, seated at individual tables dressed in fresh, white linen.

Our full Scottish breakfast of thickly sliced bacon, locally made sausage, free range eggs, grilled mushrooms, plum tomatoes and either locally made haggis or black pudding is always a popular choice.

A selection of lighter choices is also available, including creamy scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, organic Scottish porridge or our delicious continental option.
